Group Pass – How does it work?
- The Group Pass (minimum 2 DVM’s total of 5) simply pre-purchases passes on behalf of the members of the group. The Group purchaser registers for the conference and then enters each attendee's email. Each pre-paid attendee will then receive their own custom link to complete their own registration. Not sure who in your practice can come? Don't worry, registration is fully transferable.
- The Group Pass can be shared within your clinic or among industry peers & colleagues.
- A group pass includes up to 5 (minimum 2 DVM’s total of 5), two-day pass’. The Group Pass is the same price for up to 5 individuals. If you register less than 5, there is no rebate on the fee.
- Additional passes can be purchased for only $50 each.
- Group Passes must be purchased and paid for together.
- Substitutions can be made up to two weeks prior to the conference.
- There are no full or partial refunds for individuals within any Group Pass.
What does my conference pass include?
- 2-day conference pass gives you Full access to all 30 sessions presented by WCVM on Friday October 2, 2020 and Saturday October 3
- 1-day conference pass gives you full access to all sessions presented by WCVM on the day you are attending
- Additional Sponsored sessions are also complimentary to attend and are on a first-come-first-serve basis when you register (stand by lines available at the conference)
- Pre-Conference workshops are also available on Thursday October 1, 2020 and have additional fees.
- In order to keep your CE cost as low as possible, lunch is not included. However, a food court with a wide variety of vendors will be on site to serve you! Plus, the newly renovated CRAFT Eatery is available with a wide variety of healthy food options

We are monitoring the status of COVID-19 and the effect it has on conventions and conferences. Depending on provincial and federal legislation at the time, we have a contingency plan in place, should VET not be physically held on October 1,2,3, 2020.
In this case, VET will be hosting a live, interactive, virtual conference and in addition to this, we have also secured back- up dates, based on government timelines. We assure you that you will receive quality CE from VET 2020.

WIFI - Is there free wi-fi?
Yes VET is happy to offer free Wi-Fi access during the conference from any tablet, phone, and device – look for the network called “VET” and follow the steps to log on.
SESSION SCANNING - What is it for?
As you enter each room, you will scan your badge. Once you are scanned it will automatically populate your certificate of attendance. You can download your certificate right from the conference website. The scanning is just to auto-populate your Certificate of attendance.

*Note – Some Sponsored symposia will not appear on the Final Certificate of attendance if they are not RACE-approved and separate of the University of Saskatchewan, WCVM program.
REFUNDS - Is my registration refundable?
Passes and Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred. Passes may not be shared.

at least two weeks prior to the conference. We will not process transfers over the phone.
SOCIAL MEDIA - Is VET on social media?
CREDITS - How many Academic credits can I get by attending the entire conference?
This program 1037-33342 is approved by the AAVSB RACE to offer a total of 47.00 CE Credits (18.00 max) being available to any one veterinarian: and/or 41.00 Veterinary Technician CE Credits (18.00 max). This RACE approval is for the subject matter categories of:
Category One: Scientific using the delivery method of Seminar/LectureLab/Wet Lab. This approval is valid in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB RACE; however, participants are responsible for ascertaining each board's CE requirements. RACE does not "accredit" or "endorse" or "certify" any program or person, nor does RACE approval validate the content of the program.
Practice Management courses offer up to 15 hours of management CE's and are applicable to the CVPM continuing education requirement
PETS - Can I bring my pet to the conference?
Delegates who wish to bring a companion animal to VET must contact Show Management at email@example.com
in advance to receive and complete the required VET Companion Animal Release Form.
GUESTS - Can I bring my husband/ wife/ child/ with me as a guest?
No. The conference is only open to veterinary professionals.
INTERNATIONAL INVITATION LETTER REQUESTS- Does the conference provide invitation letters?
No. Veterinary Education Today focuses on Canadian CE requirements and as such does not issue letter of invitations to international veterinary professionals.
SHUTTLE BUS - Is transportation between the hotels and International Centre available?
Yes, there is a complimentary shuttle bus available from our official hotels to and from the Conference Centre. Pickup spots are located in front of each hotel lobby and just outside of The Conference Centre at the International Centre. Please see the schedule below:

ACCOMMODATIONS / HOTELS - Is there a room block available?
We encourage you to reserve your hotel accommodations through our room block. We have negotiated excellent rates on your behalf and provide complimentary shuttle service to the International Centre.
EVALUATIONS - Can I complete the session/conference evaluations after the conference?
Yes. The session evaluations are left open following the conference until Friday November 13.

PRESENTATIONS - Are the presentations available? / How do I get the presentations?
Some presentations are available to download. Please note: if the speaker did not give us permission, their presentation is not available. Look for the paper icon beside the title to see if that session has a presentation available.
CERTIFICATES - Where can I find my Certificate of Attendance?
Yes. Certificates are available to download from the mobile website
RESTAURANT - Where can I purchase food?
The new exhibit hall and conference centre offers more selection with an on-site restaurant and more food stations.

INDUSTRY SUPPLIER - How do I register as a Non-exhibitor industry supplier?

Non Exhibiting Industry Supplier Policy
Access to the VET conference and exposition is closed to veterinarian healthcare professionals and students only. Non-exhibiting Industry Suppliers are not permitted to participate in the conference or exposition. A supplier is considered to be any individual or company who provides a product or service to the veterinary industry, such as medications (prescribed and over-the-counter), food, pet accessories and treats, financial services, medical equipment and devices, software and or office management products/services, memorial products/services, and more. Industry Suppliers may request a guided tour of the conference and exposition. Tour Requests must be received by 5:00pm EST Friday September 17, 2020. Please contact Lee Baker at email@example.com.
Media companies that wish to attend VET should complete an application for a Media Pass, which can be downloaded here. You must apply for Show Management approval by 5:00pm EST Friday September 17, 2020. Media accreditation is non-transferrable. Any deviation from the media scope outlined may result in revocation of your pass. No more than two (2) editorial representatives may attend over the duration of the show. Publishers and/or salespeople from media organizations do not qualify for a media pass.
